Derek Loh, the non-resident Singaporean high commissioner to Bangladesh, paid a courtesy call on Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman at the army headquarters on November 13.
During the meeting, they discussed various aspects of bilateral relations and economic cooperation between the two countries, said an ISPR press release.
In particular, they focus on increasing military cooperation, improving health care standards through introducing joint hospital construction and management initiatives, investing in defense and security industry, and exchanging trainees between military training institutions of both countries.
Besides, they also emphasized on conducting joint military exercises on disaster management, counter-terrorism and special force operations.
